Accepting New Clients
Sabrina works with individuals, couples, and families who may be feeling overwhelmed, navigating relationship difficulties, adjusting to significant changes, or noticing patterns that they would like to better understand.
Her approach is collaborative, practical, and responsive to each client’s circumstances. Therapy may involve making sense of what is happening, exploring emotional or relationship patterns, and considering practical ways of responding differently moving forward.
Sabrina draws from training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, integrating approaches based on the needs, goals, and circumstances of the individual, couple, or family she is working with.
Outside of clinical work, Sabrina values creativity, continued learning, and time spent connecting with the people and communities that are important to her.

Who Sabrina Works With
Individuals
Sabrina works with adults navigating emotional, relational, workplace, or life concerns, including periods of stress, change, uncertainty, or feeling caught in recurring patterns.
Couples
Sabrina works with couples exploring communication, conflict, emotional connection, trust, recurring relationship patterns, and significant transitions. Couples do not need to be in crisis to seek support.
Families
Sabrina works with families navigating communication difficulties, changing roles, relationship patterns, parenting concerns, and periods of transition.
Therapeutic Approaches
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT explores relationships between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and everyday experiences. It may include identifying patterns, considering alternative perspectives, and developing practical strategies for responding to challenges.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
DBT-informed work may focus on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and developing more intentional ways of responding during difficult situations.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT-informed work explores emotions, attachment needs, and recurring interaction patterns. It may be particularly useful when working with relationship dynamics, emotional connection, and vulnerability.
Gottman Method Couples Therapy
In couples work, Sabrina may integrate principles and interventions from Gottman Method Couples Therapy to explore communication, conflict, friendship, emotional connection, and relationship patterns.
How I Work
I want therapy to feel collaborative, purposeful, and responsive to what is actually happening in your life. When we begin working together, I’ll take time to understand what brings you in, what feels most important right now, and what you are hoping to get from our work together.
My style tends to balance thoughtful exploration with practical work. We may look at emotions, thoughts, relationship patterns, communication, coping responses, and the ways past and present experiences are influencing what is happening now. Depending on your goals, I may also introduce strategies or exercises that you can consider using outside of our sessions.
I tend to be engaged and conversational in session. I may ask questions, point out patterns I am noticing, invite us to slow down around something important, or offer a different perspective for us to consider. I also recognize that people differ in what they find useful, so I do not expect every client or concern to fit one particular way of working.
I draw from CBT, DBT, EFT, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and other approaches that are appropriate to my training and competence. I adapt the direction and pace of therapy based on your circumstances, clinical needs, preferences, goals, and ongoing feedback while also bringing professional knowledge, structure, recommendations, and clinical judgment to our work.
I value straightforward feedback throughout the process. If something is not feeling useful, if you have questions about why we are approaching something in a particular way, or if you would like us to work differently, I want there to be room for us to talk about that.
